Merbabu Guest House ~review~

Well, good evening to you guys...

Gue baru aja pulang dari Malang nih.... gue mau share side-story dari perjalanan gue ke Malang ini... hehe..
Perjalanan gue ke Malang berdurasi dari tanggal 17 sept 2011 - 20 sept 2011... tapi pas booking di Merbabu Guest House ini, ternyata uda fully-booked pas tanggal 17 sept nya... nah loh... untungnya, mbak nya ngasih tau kalo buat tanggal 18 nya ada kamar kosong... langsung deh gue booked 2 malem... FYI, smua informasi gue dapet dari website nya dan by email (fast-responsed-email... +1 for you guys.. keep it up..)

Singkat cerita, tanggal 18 sept 2011, gue berangkat menuju Merbabu Guest House di jalan Merbabu nomor 26.

Dari luar kliatannya kayak rumah biasa aja... simple.. 

Langsung deh gue masuk, disambut oleh resepsionis..

FYI, sistem pembayaran di Merbabu Guest House (MGH) ini flexible abis... another +1 for you guys... :)
Pas di email, mereka bilang bayarnya (transfer) Full Payment.. lalu gue tanya, bisa DP ga.. mereka jawab bisa.. entah minimal berapa persen, tapi gue kmaren transfer DP50%.. sisanya debit / cash ditempat.. (mereka terima Debit BC* loh..)
Kalian juga bisa bayar pas check-out.. flexible payment rules!!

Untuk Room rates Sept 2011 :

• Superior : Rp.299.000,-/night
• Deluxe : Rp. 349.000,-/night
• Suite : Rp.449.000,-/night

peralatan mandi nya lumayan lengkap, ada 2 handuk gede, liquid soap, dan shampoo..

Waiting & Dining Lounge nya simple tapi cozy..

Sarapan & Snack sore

 

Sarapan kalian bisa mesen nasgor, soto, toast bread.. minumnya teh/kopi..
Snack sore nya kalo gue kmaren itu dapet secangkir gede teh anget, plus 4 kue.. 2 blackforest + 2 chicken pastry.. karena lagi ga mood makan blackforest, akhirnya gue cuma ngembat chicken pastry nya 2 biji.. enyaakkk... (>3<)/


Well, akhirnya hari checkout gue tiba... dan gue pun melunasi pembayaran gue.. gue nyerahin kunci kamar, resepsionis ngasih struk pembayaran..
and..... that's conclude this posting. For anybody who needs peaceful place to rest, this is the right place..

NOTICE :
1. Buat yang mau booking, mending booking dari jauh2 hari, soalnya takut penuh kamarnya... maklum cuma ada 11 kamar..
2. Mesti siap kendaraan, soalnya tempat makannya rada jauh dari sini. Kebanyakan perumahan.

[SOLVED] Slow GPS-locking

Hello guys,

Nokia Maps 3.08 suddenly made our GPS's vasco die, right?
I'm really sure that you are coming to solve this problem..
yeap, Slow GPS Locking is now SOLVED !!

Just do these 3 simple way,

• Go to Settings, Application Settings, Positioning, Positioning Methods, Check A-GPS and Integrated GPS, Uncheck the rest.
• Go to positioning Server, Add supl.google.com, make it to number one prioritized instead of supl.nokia.com
• Enter Nokia Maps, go offline, take it to outdoor, and see the MAGIC happens..!!

There, your GPS Device is returning to normal again!!

Nokia Maps 3.08 !!

OVI Maps, yang sekarang uda brubah jadi Nokia Maps, ngeluarin update-an terbaru nya.. versi 3.08.. setelah sebelomnya versi 3.07.

Di versi terbaru ini, Nokia Maps melakukan perubahan di Look-and-Feel nya, TERUTAMA di bagian Drive.

What's different from v3.07?
Drive Enhancements:

• Live traffic routing takes traffic information into account to avoid traffic jams automatically (available in Germany, France, US, UK and Russia).


• Turn on "Avoid traffic" in your "Route settings" to take traffic conditions into account while you drive. Always get the best route for right now.


• New Drive look & feel - home screen now has buttons for "Set destination," "Drive home" and "Just drive."


• "Just drive" or Drive assistance shows your accurate speed, gives speed warnings, the distance driven and real time traffic.


• New information bar on Drive navigation and Drive assistance screens.


• Also easily toggle between Estimated Time of Arrival in minutes or distance to your destination - just tap the icon on the screen.


• New option menus in Drive.


• Set a contact as a destination.


• Easily change your settings during Drive navigation. Changes in settings are immediate and can been seen instantly.

Additional improvements

• Long tap is now available to give quick access to "Drive to," "Walk to," "Share" and various lists.


• Settings reorganized to "General" "Maps & Walk" and "Drive."

NOTE : Old Maps from 3.07 still can be used again... :)

[SOLVED] No Message Notification Alert | Nokia N8

Hi guys,

I'm using Nokia N8 here, the Best Camera Smartphone in 2010 and Best Performance phone in Indonesia Communication Centre Award 2011..

I don't know how long you guys had this issue, but for myself, i had this issue since couple months ago.. and it's REALLY annoying..

I don't know how it can be a serious problem.. some says it's because of the firmware bug, otherwise says it's because third party applications. Well, i don't wanna know about those things, i just want my message alert back.

I've been searching all articles about this problem, and no sure answer, though..

So, i tried myself.. here it is :

• Make sure you got below 1000 messages in your phone.. include Inbox, Sent Items, Draft, Outbox, My Folder.. (I have 1500 messages in my phone, i reduced it to 700 messages left)


• take off your sim and wait until your phone go offline.


• turn it off by press and hold the power button about 8 seconds until it vibrate three times.


• turn on your vasco WITHOUT sim.


• wait until you see the Homescreen.


• turn it off again with 8 seconds press and hold power.


• put the sim card in again into your vasco, turn it on.


• try to send a message to your phone, and see it ALERTED!!
